Monday's Menu

I'm thinking about trying something new...I love finding/trying new recipes, so I come up with the idea to have a Monday's Menu. Each Monday I'll pick a category (i.e. appetizer, entree, etc) and post a recipe that I have. I'm hoping that you guys will post one back. It would be like one great big recipe swap! What do you think?? Would you take a few min and post one?? I'll try it for a few weeks and see how it goes...

Desserts: Cookies
Chocolate Cake Cookies
1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix 2 Tbs. Water
1 Egg 1 Stick Butter, softned
Mix all ingredients together. Roll into 1-inch balls (if batter is too wet, put in fridge for about 10-15 min) Roll balls into granulated sugar. Bake at 375 for 8 min.
** Strawberry cake mix works really well also **

  1. Cake cookies are so amazing. Also, even more amazing if you wrap the cake cookies around a rolo. You will die at how sweet and awesome it tastes. I used to make them all the time. Now that I think about it, I may have to make them this weekend...I've never made them for my husband before and he would LOVE them! Thanks for the reminder.

  2. I love "Friendship Cookies" as my recipe book calls them! Only instead of butter, try;

    1 large egg
    1/2 cup of cooking oil
1 box of ANY Cake Mix
    1/4 cup water
1 cup chocolate/white chips (any kind that you prefer)

Mix all together, bake 350 for 8 mins.

I just made these yesterday for my hubby, he loves them!!

I LOVE this idea, do you mind if I post recipes on mondays also?! Sping recipes is great!!

  3. Those sound yummy! I'll try to think of some good recipes, can't wait to see what you come up with each Monday! I'm posting a new scrapbook layout each week on my blog, if you're in to that.

My daughter's favorite after school snack

    Chocolate "Croissants"

    1 roll of crescent rolls
    Nutella

Open the crescent rolls, break them into their little triangles, smear Nutella all over each triangle, roll them up, large end to small pointed end.

Follow baking directions. Eat them warm & enjoy!
